Vesdia's Management Team
Vesdia’s management team is comprised of former Fortune 500 executives with proven expertise in each of their respective functional areas, as well as significant industry-related experience in financial services (NationsBank, Wachovia, SunTrust) and consumer goods and services (Procter & Gamble, BellSouth, and AT&T). Each team member also has previous entrepreneurial experience in small- to mid-sized companies. The resulting culture is a unique blend of "big picture" vision, discipline, and hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations.

JIM DOUGLASS - Chief Executive Officer
Jim brings over 15 years of operations management, strategic development, and financial experience with rapidly growing financial services and healthcare companies. Jim was most recently CEO of the Atlanta based Visionary Systems, Inc., a leading provider of decision systems for credit providers and retailers. VSI was successfully sold to Trans Union in 2004. Visionary Systems is a leading independent provider of customer insight technologies empowering clients to effectively acquire and retain highly profitable customers. Prior to Visionary Systems, Jim served as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer with CheckFree Corporation. While at CheckFree, Jim was part of the executive management team that grew the company to over $500 million in revenue as the leading provider of electronic billing and payment services to financial institutions and portals. Prior to CheckFree, Jim served as Vice President and Corporate Controller of Medaphis Corporation, a leading provider of medical billing services and management software. Jim began his career with KPMG in the Financial Services practice.
PETER G. DAVIS - PRESIDENT
During his professional career Pete has held progressive leadership positions with both Fortune 500 firms, as well as various entrepreneurial endeavors. Through Pete’s leadership Vesdia Corporation has become a widely recognized leader in the mutual fund and credit card industries, and enjoyed average annual revenue growth of more than 300% during the past five years. For his efforts, Pete has received recognition as a nominee for the coveted Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was recently named to both the Grant Thornton "Catalyst 50" list of Atlanta's most influential entrepreneurs, as well as to the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s list of "50 Under 40" list of up-and-coming executives. During the six years prior to starting Vesdia, Pete was a sales and marketing executive with Procter & Gamble. While at P&G, Pete managed the company's famed Pampers and Luvs brands, including the implementation of a several new parent loyalty programs. Prior to P&G, Pete served in leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Wachovia Bank and Boston-based Sterling Millworks. Pete has Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Economics and Anthropology from Tulane University, a Master of Business Administration from Emory University, and a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University
THOMAS MALL - CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Tom has been with Vesdia since January 2005 and is an experienced financial executive with significant technology experience. He began his career at SunTrust Banks, Inc. as a Commercial Banker. After earning his MBA, he moved to positions of increasing responsibility in Corporate Finance with Intercontinental Hotels Group PLC, Turner Broadcasting, and Philips Consumer Electronics. Tom then became the lead financial executive at Visionary Systems, Inc., a company that provides unified data access and decisioning solutions to the credit card, wireless, and banking industries. Under Tom’s financial leadership, the company grew revenue nearly 200%, landing as number 15 on the Inc. 500 in just one year. Additionally, Tom managed Visionary’s venture capital and debt raising efforts, which led to the successful sale of the company to TransUnion, LLC. Tom earned his BBA from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA from Emory University.
ROGER HARDGROVE - EVP, CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
Roger is responsible for the strategic direction of the development and implementation of the company systems and infrastructure. Prior to joining Vesdia, he was EVP and CIO of ESC (a TSYS Company), where he helped lead the development of the company's new line of loyalty products. His career spans 20+ years within information technology, including time as senior director of IT Applications at Harbinger Corporation, where he was responsible for the global application development and implementation of internal applications. Roger began his career with JCPenney Co. within the IT Operations team in its headquarters in Dallas, Texas, where he was responsible for the development of call center applications for the corporate data centers. He majored in MIS and Marketing and received B.S in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
SARAH ARVIN - EVP, PRODUCT AND PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Sarah is responsible for product and new business development at Vesdia. She has been with the company for more than 6 years and was instrumental in developing the company’s private label business as it evolved from BabyMint and other direct to consumer programs. Ms. Arvin brings more than 10 years of marketing, product management and business development experience in a wide range of markets including high tech, interactive learning, content management, marketing and internet technologies. Prior to Vesdia, she formerly led business development efforts at Borland software, where she successfully designed and implemented the company’s channel and partner programs to build an ecosystem of partner add-ons in support of the company’s market-leading Java development and testing tools. Ms. Arvin holds a BA from UC Santa Cruz.
LARS HOLMQUIST - CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER
Lars is responsible for business development, specifically optimizing the growing demand for Vesdia’s turnkey merchant-funded reward solutions within the financial services industry. Holmquist brings a wealth of experience to his role. He was formerly President of TSYS Loyalty, where he led the company’s growth in their end-to-end loyalty services and successfully developed and expanded relationships with many of the nation’s top card issuing financial institutions. Prior to TSYS, Mr. Holmquist was the vice president of Loyalty Consulting Services for MasterCard International. His responsibilities included their U.S. business development and client management areas, where he again successfully partnered with financial institutions to maximize the growing demand for customer loyalty solutions. Holmquist also spent two years with Brierley & Partners, a targeted marketing and loyalty agency, and nearly nine years with American Express, in both Sweden and the U.S. Mr. Holmquist has an M.B.A. in marketing and international business from New York University and a B.A. from Colgate University.
